Bordering a highly accessible residential area, Industrial Park was a logical target for redevelopment. By smoothing the transition from industrial to residential along Windsor Avenue, the center of activity, the CRA invested $1.6 million to make the right of way more visually pleasing and much safer. The streetscape improvement includes new sidewalks, landscape and lighting. This year has seen the completion of more than 45,000 square feet of new warehouse space and about 15,000 square feet of industrial office space. One of the recent impressive transformations is “The Toy Store,” which looks residential on the exterior but is industrial feel on the interior.
